UPDATE

Hello Miracle Ranch Family,

It has been awhile since I have blogged (2/6/2019). It has been four years to be exact, and boy what a four years it has been!

In September 2019, our baby boy (Atticus Aaron Hercules Smith) died when I was 38-weeks pregnant. Our decision was to move from the ranch, back to our hometown (Palm Desert) and buy my childhood home, before he died. There were several reasons for us to let go of our precious ranch, but the main reasons were about our eldest son, Elijah, starting school and wanting to be in closer proximity to good schools, food and resources, due to Atticus having special needs. As we were driving home from the hospital after Atticus died; we got a call that our ranch sold and we had a thirty-day escrow.

We had Atticus’ celebration of life at our ranch and we were off to our new adventure. Our plan was to continue providing equine therapy with our horses in Palm Desert, but there were other plans in store for us because the ranch we were going to provide services at broke their contract with us and we were able to re-home our horses back to the beautiful places we originally adopted them from.

Since then; there has been COVID-19 and the birth of our daughter (Grace), who is already almost two and a half. We have been providing services primarily online; which has been phenomenal for both clients and us. We have grown together through the ups and downs and are here today feeling more grateful than ever.

Love is our ultimate purpose. To love and be loved.

We are here for you! We will continue to provide services to help individuals, couples and families heal from whatever they need to heal from. We can point you in the direction you need. We are here.
