Are you ready for your life to change?

Hi There and Welcome Back!

We are so joyful and grateful you are here. We do not know who you are, but we know you. How is this? We know the kind of people who are attracted to working on themselves, learning to act in love, better their lives and those around them. You are one of those people.  We know wonderful things are going to happen for you.

How did you action step of acting in love go? Did you do it? We hope you did. The only way to see the miracles that can happen in your life, is by taking action.  Napoleon Hill said "whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve."  The only way your mind can conceive anything is by thinking about what you want in your life and then taking action. Action is one of the most important steps to making your life be the one you dream of. THINK ACTION. You will take action. 

We believe in you. Take the first step and THINK of what you want.  Feel the JOY behind the dream.  Notice if any emotions get in the way. Let's talk more about negative emotions and how they can get in the way.

There are 6 core emotions. Sad, Angry, Shameful, Guilty, Fear, and Joy. Notice how all except for 1 emotion is negative?  As humans, we are constantly striving to feel joyful.  We disconnect, leave our children at home too often, drink alcohol, use drugs, stay up late, binge watch on television, use our relationships, eat too much, shop, gamble, the list goes on and on.  These are all attempts to feel Joy.  The problem with these behaviors is that they mimic the feeling of Joy.  They are not truly Joy.  They are highs.  What happens when we get high? Do we stay high? We can apply the concept of "what goes up, must come down".  The fall from high is further than the fall from "okay". 

We can mistaken these experiences of highs and interpret them as love, joy and happy.  High is not happy, loving or joyful.  Not even close.  The hangover, the sad child, affair, fatigue, emotional emptiness, empty bank account, etc. etc. are not joyful.  They are means to take away what truly brings us joy and to block out, numb out, check out of the feelings that we truly have. We are unable to pursue what our dreams are if we have blocks that get in the way.

If we are looking for highs, consciously or unconsciously, they are unresolved feelings that are getting in the way of us achieving our dreams. All humans have the same feelings.  If we aren't feeling them, that means we are pushing them away in some unhealthy way. We try to be
happy", but the reality is that we are feeling Joy only in 1/6 of our lives. 

So where do we go from here?  All your feelings are your friends.  We know it sounds cheesy, but it is true.  The best way to achieve the life you want is to get super comfy with the all aspects of yourself.  Particularly with the parts of yourself that you discover that run away from.  Which feelings do you not feel?  Identify and then feel them. Where did they come from? Be curious with yourself.  Make yourself an experiment.

If you know these parts of yourself, you can then soothe them, love them and not act from the wounded adolescent, child and/or adult within you. Let's further discuss this in the next blog.

We encourage you to get a journal you would love to write in.  Start or continue dreaming your dreams and identify what actions you can start taking in order to pursue your dreams. When you notice your negative emotions arise, jot them down and see what actions you take after this happens.  Make sure you don't think yourself out of writing them down, pretend they didn't happen or judge yourself for having them.
